Katie Jo asked me to have a movie night fundraiser and ask each of my girlfriends that attend to donate $10. I told her I would, but I was having trouble getting motivated. I was praying about it last Sat night, and God told me that I need a girlfriend to help me. That I shouldn't be trying to do it by myself. Katie Jo and I used to throw together parties all the time together in Nashville. I had been talking to my friend Heidi about how I wanted to project a movie onto a sheet on the screened porch. She mentioned that her friend Chandra has a new movie projector and probably wouldn't mind having the movie night at her house. The next day, I met Chandra in the nursery at church! Then Melanie suggested that I rent a new release like 27 Dresses. April recommended a Christian movie that comes out next month about adoption called Bella. I have also been wondering what time to show the movie. Today, God gave me the idea to show a movie at 7pm & 9pm - a double feature! Chandra also pointed out that charging for a movie is illegal, but I'll just ask for a donation. The money is not a donation to help pay for the food or the movie rental. It's just for the adoption! I'm planning the Chocolate & a Chick Flick for Friday, May 9. I'm excited!

Greg and German built a storage building for the lawn mower and tools in the side yard last weekend. Now we're one step closer to getting a door from the kitchen to the screened porch!
